“That you may know Him better...that you may know the hope to which He has called you” Ephesians 1:15,19

I am encouraged beyond words by all God has done and continues to do in and through the ministries of HPPC. While I was raised in this great church, the Lord’s will led me and my family to other cities and other churches for a time. Naively, I assumed all churches and clergy were grounded in Scripture and sure of the riches of His glorious inheritance. (Ephesians 1:18) I was wrong.

As God took me on a journey that showed me the difference, I felt a deep appreciation for the staff and congregation of my home church. By leaving Dallas and the church I loved, the Lord revealed to me how privileged I was to grow up at the feet of those who taught the truth of the Gospel. If for this reason alone, I am humbled to serve as Moderator for the Women’s Ministry at HPPC for 2010-2011. Many have been at work to prepare and plan for a year of teaching, enrichment, and encouragement for you, the women of this church and community. Every step of the way, it is our prayer that each event we host and every study we offer be done so "that you may know Him better … that you may know the hope to which He has called you.” (Ephesians 1:15,19) You are precious to Him!

Won’t you join me in the blessings of opportunity that are before us? Through all that He will teach you here, may you be able to voice with confidence the hope we have in Him.

That you may know Him better,

Camie Drinkwater
