I'm sure you are sad like I am to have summer be over. But, with the fall comes some great new things too. For many of you there are new schools, new teachers, new sports, coaches, conductors etc. We here in the Youth Department at Highland Park Presbyterian Church want to be a foundation that you can help put all these other new things on. Our goal is to help you think about all of your life through a theological lense and help you to develop that mindset through teaching, discipleship, prayer, worship and community. We'd love to have you join us this fall. A great place to start is to check out one of our Sunday morning 9:30am communities. We'd also love it if you'd consider coming on Wednesday nights. Be sure to check out the pages for your individual ministries to get some of those updates.
We've got a great Youth Staff but we have no desire to ministry alone. We need volunteers, parents and students to walk on this journey of growing in Christ together with us. If you are interested in getting involved in any way please let us know. Students you are not off the hook. We have high expectations that you will get involved in leading your peers and younger students. Here at STREAM we care about you and the gifts that God has given you. We think sometimes the best thing we could do as the Youth Staff would be to get out of the way and allow you to lead.
So here we go. Fix Your Eyes on Jesus.
